Winners of the Uniservitate Award 2024 received their diplomas in Rome

The diplomas of the second edition of the Uniservitate Award were presented on the second day of the V Global Symposium Uniservitate, last November 8, in Rome, to the students and professors of the winning service-learning experiences, who traveled to Italy as part of the award received.

The joy and satisfaction for the task accomplished were seen on the faces of those who during the symposium also shared their experiences and dialogued with their peers, with researchers and with authorities from Catholic universities from all over the world.

A total of 39 teachers and 19 students representing 24 of the 28 experiences distinguished with a prize or a special mention were present in Rome. As in the first edition, held in 2022, five thousand Euros (€5000) were offered to the two first prizes in each of the seven regions that make up the Uniservitate programme, and one thousand Euros (€1000) to each of the two Special Mentions per region.

The winning projects cover a wide thematic spectrum in terms of the services offered by the students and the disciplines involved. A full list and synthesis of such experiences can be found in a section of the Uniservitate website.
