New Bridges between Character Development and Service-Learning

The connections between solidarity service-learning practices and character development will also be analyzed during the V Uniservitate Global Symposium. This session, proposed collaboratively by the Templeton Foundation and Porticus, will be of significant interest to the authorities and academics attending in Rome.
‘From its origins, service-learning has been closely connected to character development, and there is a lot of overlapping research. However, they have grown as distinct fields of research. This meeting will be an opportunity to build bridges between the two fields,’ said Nieves Tapia, director and founder of CLAYSS.
