The spirit that drives and nourishes the Uniservitate programme is renewed every year, particularly during the two-day Global Symposium. Each Symposium provides the students, faculty members, researchers and representatives of Higher Education institutions worldwide with a multicultural space to exchange ideas on service-learning and university social responsibility.

Objectives:

• Deepen the interchange between service-learning pedagogy and the Global Compact on Education.
• Analyze and research the spiritual dimension of service-learning and its contribution to the identity and mission of Catholic Higher Education Institutions.
• Interchange experiences and processes to institutionalize service-learning in Catholic Higher Education Institutions.
• Facilitate the exchange of views on university community engagement and service-learning among specialists, university authorities, faculty and students of Higher Education Institutions from diverse cultural contexts worldwide.
