Organized by the Central and Eastern Europe and Middle East Hub, a global symposium will be held on 23rd October for students participating in solidarity service-learning projects worldwide. The event, entitled Service-Learning in a Fragile World: Students Nurturing Peace and Hope, will be held online between 1 pm and 6 pm (German time) and hosted by the Uniservitate team at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. The symposium consists of three parts, featuring presentations, discussions, and exchanges, and will explore the effect of service-learning on students’ lives, the main challenges, obstacles, and difficulties in implementing service-learning initiatives from the students’ perspective, and their possible suggestions to improve the implementation of service-learning.
The results of this meeting will be presented two weeks later in a panel discussion at the Uniservitate Global Symposium, organized as a hybrid event on 6th and 7th November.
