November 6th and 7th: Uniservitate Global Symposium 2025
On November 6th and 7th, we will hold our VI Uniservitate Global Symposium, “Service-learning in a fragile world: Universities nourishing Peace and Hope,” in a hybrid format. Organized by Uniservitate (Porticus-CLAYSS) and the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, the event will be held onsite for members of the regional hub of Central and Eastern Europe and Middle East (CEE&ME) and Asia and Oceania (A&O), and online for those wishing to participate from other regions of the world.
The title of this symposium refers to the challenge faced by universities in contexts of conflict, confrontation, and social polarization. In light of this reality, education in general, and SL in particular, can take an active role in building the polis. Through dialogue, reflection, and committed research, this academic and fraternal event aims to be an experience of peacebuilding and hope.
Rectors Summit
Within the framework of the VI Uniservitate Global Symposium, a new meeting of rectors of Catholic higher education institutions that are members of Uniservitate will be held on Thursday, November 6th. Like the Symposium, this meeting will have a hybrid format and will continue the conversations that were initiated at the beginning of the programme and at the last meeting of this type, held in Rome during the V Uniservitate Global Symposium.
