On 17 April, the Pontifical Xavierian University, which is part of the Uniservitate Programme for Service-Learning in Higher Education, was awarded in “AACSB International’s 2023 Innovations That Inspire” for its service-learning project “Consultorio Contable Javeriano [Xavierian Accountancy Consultancy]”. Through a consultancy service, the Faculty of Economics and Business in Bogota, Colombia, helps SMEs and people in vulnerable communities to use available resources to develop customised and sustainable financial and accounting skills.
Some of its programmes and projects are the following: “Euskadi” Project, “Rumbo-e” Programme, Start-up companies Programme, “SOFI” Programme, Management Accounting Workshop and the “Construyendo un sueño juntos [Building a dream together]” Project.
