The Service-Learning Regional Hub for Africa is delighted to invite students, faculty and specialists in Service-Learning to submit papers for the 2nd Annual Africa Conference on Service-Learning entitled “Service-Learning and Life in its Fullness: Promoting Care for Creation and Fraternity in Higher Education.” The Tangaza University College organised this conference on 18th and 19th May from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ( East Africa Time GMT+3)
The two-day conference will address Higher Education professionals and specialists such as educators, administrators and researchers, or students and community members actively involved in service-learning initiatives. It is intended for those interested in exploring the potential of service-learning to promote care for creation and fraternity in Higher Education Institutions, and those committed to advancing the field.
The call for papers focuses on exploring the following topics:
a. Dignity of Creation
b. Protection & Safe Guarding of Children and Vulnerable Adults
c. Service-Learning and Sustainable Development Goals
d. Youth, Technology and Identity in relation to Social Teaching of Church
e. Fraternity and Cooperation in Higher Education Institutions
f. Leadership, Creativity and Innovation in Service-Learning
Important deadlines:
Submission of Abstracts: 13th March
Submission of full papers: 2nd May
